For studying at London Metropolitan University, you will need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). You must also show you have enough money to cover your tuition fees and living costs, prove you meet the English language requirements, and have a valid passport.

Yes, you may switch from a Student Visa to a Skilled Worker Visa if you meet the requirements. You need to have a job offer from a UK employer who is licensed to sponsor skilled workers. However, if you haven’t finished your degree, it might be harder to qualify unless the job you’re offered meets the visa requirements.

If you plan to work part-time while studying, you will need a National Insurance Number (NIN). It’s used to pay taxes and contribute to social security in the UK. You can apply for your NIN once you arrive in the UK.

Some students applying for a UK Student Visa must take a tuberculosis (TB) test, depending on where they are from. You can find out if you need the test by checking the list of countries that require it. If you do, you’ll need to take the test at an approved clinic.

 Indian students applying for a UK Student Visa need to provide:

Pakistani students must show they have enough money to pay for their tuition fees and living costs. The requirements are:

  • £1,334 per month for living expenses if you’re studying outside of London

£1,823 per month for courses in London
This money should be in your bank account for at least 28 days before you apply.
